We are not a medical device. Insulin dosing decisions belong to you and your care team. Our role is faster carb estimation, not bolus calculation.
It's accurate enough to be a starting point; the final call belongs to you. Photo recognition gives you a defensible carb estimate — the same place you'd start with a label or a menu card. We don't recommend using any consumer app as the sole input to a bolus.
